A special thank you to everyone at Franklin Middle School who welcomed me into their school community. To my cooperating teacher, Miriam Francis, I wouldn't be where I am today without your guidance and support. You opened your classroom to me and set me up to succeed by providing me with the opportunities to experiment with my teaching philosophies and try new things. To my team and to the members of the Language Arts Department, thank you for your endless support and the indescribable kindness you've shown towards me. I truly felt like a member of your family. To my family, roommates, peers, and professors, thank you for allowing me to share my stories, and sometimes even practice lessons on you. Your patience and understanding did not go unnoticed.

And lastly, a huge thank you to my students. As I stated on that first day, our classroom is a community of learners and teachers. I learned more from you than I ever thought possible. Thank you for making my job so easy; because of you, I truly looked forward to coming to school each and every day.

Team 7A: Husky Pride!
